Just talking about this place over at MCM and wanted to stop over and say hi. It is quiet but there is allot of good info here. One of the originals! Anyway, glad to see Nacho still has it going. I do believe that we had a great time together over here. Lots of civil discussions over here and some great friendships as well. People slowly drifted away.

Gonna add a little more to this.Got the engine wired the best I could and the body almost ready for paint. Got this milliput stuff to try to mold some sleeping bags They kind of look like bags. May try to make them a little smaller, just experimenting at the moment Put a lip around the trunk with some evergreen strips Went ahead and sprayed semi gloss on the tarp and filled those holes on the hood, didn't really like that. Figured out something for the trunk floor, gonna throw some flock on it later here it is with the bags and a tire. kind of why I'm thinking about making the bags a bit smaller. Anyway, this is kind of the direction I'm looking at. Thanks for looking.

Went ahead and threw those tires under it to see what it somewhat may look like. Not sure but I may go with them for now

First group build I'm gonna try since...hmmm...The Chevy hundred year anniversary build on here many years back. I failed big time! But I did get it done A few years later...lol, like maybe 8! It's the 55 Vette up there^ Anyway, this is a build on another site. Did some research on this P2P rally and it looks like a really cool adventure. Gonna try this 41. I think my wife and I could keep it running for around 8k miles! I'll try to keep it posted here too. This where I started a while back. Puttied around the front insert and in the process of replacing the little ribs with stretched sprue. I'll get better pics as I go.

Ok, that last mom I put up was kinda silly. Lets just throw any finished model in here and see what happens. I,ll start with my 30 ford Think I airbrushed with an old little bottle testors light blue. Except for the wheels, all of the chrome was done with alclad chrome. I'm not showing the plug wires cause they're twisted little insides of phone wires dipped in yellow paint. kind of goofy looking.

Looks good to me. But that chrome finish hurts the eyes!!!! I must say that the gold looks interesting though.

Welcome back Jerry! I came back a little bit ago and was really glad John still had it going. The big sites really did a number on this and other forums, but a few of us are trying to keep it chugging along. I've been laying off a bit lately, been real busy with work and working around home, but its starting to mellow out a bit. Hang around and lets bring a little life back to this!

I know what you mean. But I'm rethinking those Social Media groups. Some of them are so big. (I was in one with39K members), and only a few dozen actually build. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi, Jerry! Welcome back. As you can see, TMM is a shadow of its former self. These forums, for the most part, just can’t compete with the big social media platforms. I check in everyday but there is little to no activity.

Monogram #2213 This car was on display at a hobby shop as it sits, (in green), the object was to see how many people noticed that it was unfinished. was definitely surprised at the comments about how cool looking it was!!!! Well, 40yrs later I finally redid it. As originally built. Yes, this is how it sat on display at the hobby shop. And here it is now. Thank you for your interest. Jerry
