Although I'm real partial to '56 Fords (Fastest On Race or Drag), I have a special place reserved for Chubby '55s. Having owned one, a white over red 2 dr hdtop that I modified into a D/Gas street racer..with a 1957 283 F.I. engine, 365 hp corvette intake(cast iron) Holley 4-bbl, full race solid tappet cam (absolutely tha last solid cam I ever ran in a chubby-too many times w/valve covers off), Home-made headers, aluminum powerglide into 4:56 gear, no fenderwheels nor front bumper and big mistake on tha highway...Monroe 90/10 front shocks.....kissed a telephone pole one nite, caught tha right front A-frame at about 55 mph...pushed tha right side back about 8 inches......and boy howdy...did that car generate some tickets. ;D
Nice model greg.... ;D

Although I'm real partial to '56 Fords (Fastest On Race or Drag), \ Oh my goodness Greg ............ don't listen to that "Fastest on Race or Drag" propaganda (I believe it's really Found on Road Dead ;D ;D) ............... gotta stick with the '55 Bowties all the way ........... this little beast I owned in high school was never outrun by a piece of "Dearborn Iron" .............. at this time in 1963, it had a 220 horse 283, BW T-4 three speed, and a 2.70:1 rear end by the time this picture was taken in 1967, the running gear was a 300 horse 327, BW T-10 four speed, and a 4.11:1 rear end Bowties all the way ;D ;D .............. just pulling your chain Zeb ;D ;D ;D
