Seeing as though land speed cars are few and far between in scale, I thought I would post my version of a car you might have found tearing up the salt in the 1950's. This is a parts box body, replicas & miniatures rear axle, heads, intake, carbs, and seat & a white metal front axle and resin wheels/tires. scratch built stuff- hairpins, frame, carb linkage, scoop, headers, interior, inside door panels (made to look stock), tonneau cover, push bar, full belly pan & nose. Wired & plumbed. Thanks for lookin Chris

Chris I must say thats one of the finest Salt Flat cars built. It looks like you took it out of the 50's.

Thanks again guys, 41chevy, here are the only other pics I have that you can see the motor, unfortunately you can't see the carb linkage and return spring etc... I almost forgot, I entered this in the 1st annual goodguys show at the Chicagoland motor speedway & came home with an award for best engine.

Excellent engine detail Rat. Nothing better than a well detailed Flatty.
