Can anybody suggest some tires for a salt flats racer.Maybe something a little taller than a normal street tire? What have you used? Thanks!

try to find an old mpc indy car kit. those tires would be just about right....adam

I suggest using Revell `48 woody Blackwall tires. Chuck them in a drill and sand off the tread. Use Tires like the ones that come in the Lindburg `40 for the front, detread them the same way.

Can anybody suggest some tires for a salt flats racer.Maybe something a little taller than a normal street tire? What have you used? Thanks! Might I suggest a trip the Hardware store. Take your wheels with you. Go to the "O" ring section and pick out the size and cross section you want, Chuck
