I started with a J&S `50 Ford Flathead engine. The one from the Revell `50 ford truck or Amt `49-`50 fords will work also. 1- Glue halfs together and sand any seams smooth, added oil pan and water pumps. I painted it Gloss Red laquer. 2- I cleaned up the J&S Ardun heads, drilled the exhast, Intake and water ports with a .063 bit. Painted the heads with Alclad Magnesium over Dull Alum. Valley cover sprayed the same. Valve covers were sprayed with Alclad Duro-Alum. Then they were glued in place. Be careful of the position of the heads , they can be mounted upside down. More to Come
