Somehow I knew you would build a drag/pro street version Ben. Looks good so far.

Thats funny, because I decided not to do a pro street car which are some of my favorite builds because So many of my previous builds were pro streeters. Your car so far is bad a%^! Can't wait to see it finished. What kit did the engine come from?

I'm doing mine the way I always picture Chevrolets. To me, a Chevy is a full-size, 2-door, white with an aqua interior. That's what the first car I ever drove was, and the first car I ever bought was also. I got the Testor's bright white paint laid down, its not all that smooth, so I have to buff it down a bit. The interior is all painted with a custom mixed aqua color with aqua ken's fuzzy fur for carpet. I built an engine for it, but havent decided if I'm going use it or not. Actually I built two, both straight sixes from the AMT 60 Chevy truck kits, one is clean and shiny, the other weathered. Pics to come tomorrow.

Here it is. For the pic mockup, it has the clean six cylinder.

Yep, straight six. In my personeal vehicles I prefer a V8, but in models, I love six cylinders.

Looks good. Got a promotion at work so I've been spending a lot of time there. I haven't been able to work on my build for a while. I may be able to work on it for a little while Monday.

Some more progress. Chassis is done, engine installed, interior completed. After three coats of Future wax the paint is almost smooth and I have started the BMF.

Thanks. I have a plan. I figure since I like white 2-door Chevies, I might as well see how many I can build. Let's see.....I have a 51,55,56,57,58,61,62,63,67,70,76......haha that would be cool.

I finally got some pics for you guys. This is about 26hrs worth of work. I haven't started the engine, interior, chassis etc. Just the body modifications which include shaved badges and emblems and some trim. I opened the doors and trunk and fabricated deeper front inner fender wells. I am going to do some minor tubbing in the back to bring the rear down some. I see a NASCAR suspension in the near future. I'm way behind. Alex.

You look way ahead of me already Alex. I like the look so far. I finally got the suspension and ride height where I want it and have started on the interior. Still no paint, no engine. Alex.

how about the front wheel position? has anyone actually had the front wheels on and mocked it up? i spent a bit of time adjusting and making sure everything was ok and yet the front wheels are forward a little more than i think they should be. this is not a big deal, but thought i would ask. before answering this, yes my suspension is installed correctly etc... lol
