Bobby, not sure if I will be able to be in Cookeville this year. Both kids have ear infections and the wife was diagnosed with walking pneumonia. So, if everyone feels better (and I don't have something) then I will be there. But do not know right now.
Willie, the tube is from my son's RC car. It is used to help the wire antenna stand up. Very lucky find. I wonder if they have it at Hobby Stores. I should check tomorrow night (model club meeting). John

Thanks guys, $400 worth of medicine BETTER do the trick! We will see if it can do it by Friday night. Brian, the tires came from (I believe) a Revell Honcho J-truck model. Don't know if you build offroad vehicles but here is a link to tire info that might be helpful: www.magazinepublisher.com/models/tires/tires.htmlJohn

A little update on Big Oly. Of course very slow progress but I have a few pix of newly completed stuff. The interior panels: Rear suspension: Front suspension (less the shocks): I can finally see the end of the tunnel with this build. John

I have some more photos: Interior is basically done except for a "floormat" under the driver and seatbelts. Body panels are painted white and will get their strange "goldish" beer can color and decals as soon as paint is completely dry. Can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel! John
