I just wanted to update my profile a bit....I have been here for a while and I really enjoy the site. I build 1/24//1/25 cars and heavy trucks, 1/35 military and 1/72 aircraft. Rather I should say I used to. That is the change. I have gone thru several burnout periods. Finally, I have realized I really enjoy models but, the fun has gone out of building them. I bought a few die casts and added some detail to them. That I enjoyed!
So the change is that I am a collector now rather than a builder. I am going to stay with this site because you have a place for die cast and I haven't seen any builders flaming collectors.
Maybe this should go in off topic posts, but I figure my profile has changed, so a new post is in order.
Robert

Sometimes you just have to give it a break for a bit. I've been through several slow or non-building periods, but I usually end up figuring out a project that catches my interest and I'm off and going again. Now if I could only stop quitting somewhere between the 60 to 80% done mark and starting another one!

Thanks for the update Robert. You are right.....no flames on this board. Shoot, probably most of us on this board have a little bit of collector in us . As long as you are happy and enjoying yourself, that's all that matters. Glad you are sticking with the board.

Now that is a great way to figure out how to combine both hobbies! I even mess with diecast from time to time, mostly building law enforcement vehicles. Can't wait to see what you are coming up with!
