Well , I know I posted on the Lobby, that I was not going to make this years show but after several members talking to me about it I was trying to make plans to make it. If not to stay the night, make it a day trip. Resin sales have been pretty good lately and I have been saving the money back to cover the show. Well I looked at a flyer this morning and Guess what..........They don`t have a class for my entrys. I went to the show in 2009 and they had an Automotive Dio class. Well according to this years Flyer they have eliminated the Auto Dio class. They had it last year also. I was planning on bringing "Pop`s Texaco' And "Whiskey Hollow" but the round trip would cost me around $400.00 if I stayed there Friday night. Sorry guys,I just can`t dish out that much cash and not even have a class to display my work in. Looks like 1 of the Short track classes took the place of the Dio class. Oh well, at least the short track guys will have their own class. I guess Automotive Dio`s are not of much interest MTMA group. .?.
Guess I`ll just have to wait for Simpsonville in May.
Sent them an E-mail but I don`t expect a reply.
I was looking forward to surprizing you there Bobby.

Hello Ron,
Thanks for asking about our upcoming show.
As for the Automotive diorama class we removed it after last years show due to a lack of entries in the class over the last 5 years. Our club voted to move them into the Miscellaneous Categories because of that reason.. So we still have a diorama class MIS-5 Etcetra-Inclues Mis. Dioramas. It does not inclued military diorams as their is a still a Military Diorama Class.
I hope this answers your question and hope that you can make it to our show on Mar. 12.

Bobby, at this point, I'm not going to be able to make this years show....I'll be working. However, if I get anywhere close to Cookeville that day, I might be callin' YOU to come pick me up at a truckstop somewhere! Lol!
