Hi all, been checking out the site for a few weeks now, nice builds and friendly folks.
I started building back in the early 70s. Race and show cars, planes, ships, bikes, just about anything. Then I picked up a guitar, and model building was all history...so I thought.
Several years back, after 30+ years of debauchery, trying to be a guitar hero, and a few failed marriages, I have a 19 year old son, 3 beautiful step daughters, and a wonderful wife who digs my building. So I quit the music buis. picked up my tools and started building again. I've found things have come a long way.
Started back with military stuff, but Hot Rods are much more pleasing to the eye, really getting into learning how to detail. I'll get some pics of some builds up this weekend.
The 24 hour build is cool, can't do it this time, family obligations. But looking forward to see what you all do.
