What I do when I'm not building models

Here's something I do when I'm not building models. I fire up the airbrush and have some fun. B) While I'm in the comic book mood and waiting for a kit to come from Europe, I decided to paint a goalie helmet with Venom (the alien spider man) on it. I still have to get the tongue hanging out the side.

Yes it could, but I'm not sure how much I'd want to do it. With personal items like that, customers (people) can get overbaring and take the joy out of something you love. The flip side is seeing their reaction when you present them with something they do love like when I built the 2002 Camaro SS for the guy. The money was nice, but seeing his reaction made all the hard work worth it.

After allowing the paint to get good and dried out, I shot the lacquer clear coat on it tonight. I'll hit it a couple more times yet and polish it. I have to go to the local hockey shop and hope they have parts for these things. I had to drill out a couple screws because they were rusted to the mask. I also have to take the mask in to work and sand blast it as it's rusted and the paint's flaking off. Then it's assemble and call it done!

I've finally completed it. I took it to a local auto body place to have it cleared. Then to the hockey shop for replacement parts and I'm now done. ;D This is my first ever project like this and hopefully I can do more.
