OK, there has been a lot of flooding due to the rains the last week or so, as has been the case all over. The lead photo in todays local paper, The Herald Leader, was this:
The yellow car in the picture is a Porsche convertible. The caption says it is sitting on a floating mat which is tethered to the house. Seems to me that if you have the time to do all that in an attempt to save your sports car you would have had time to drive it out to high ground. But who knows.
