Need opinion on which set of buildings I should incorporate. Option A Option B The building on the far left had a major piece missing. The front of the 2nd floor, so I added this. Also this block won't be quite as sleazy as the original.

Option A
The garage door in option B looks like it should be on the back side of a building, not the front.

Okay I think I finalized the new section of town. I may even add another block to it also.

Thanks, that helps me understand the size. So each block is about 3 and 1/2 feet by itself.

???What should I add on? ? I think I'm going to do all the buildings in one row, as we have a block here like that.

I thought you were debating adding more to it. My bad. Origanlly I was just going to do one section, but wasn't sure which buildings to use. Opt .A or B. Then I decided to do 2 sections, then opted to make one long one.

This section scales out to a city block. 330 feet. Plus the streets.

Got the base for the streets poured today, not much to show, but will post pics later when I get lines scribed in it. Right now, it's still setting up.

Finally got back to this one again. I sighted in the sidewalks. Even found some drain outlets, still have to place manholes yet. Got the streets, and parking lanes scribed in. Asphalted the alley. This stuff is great for simulating asphalt. Nice and gritty. Hope I can find more. I've had this can for 10 years, and its sstill good. Then a base coat for the pavement.

Well the sewers, and drains are in. Along with aging the roadway. Discovered a few pot holes that needed filling, so the crew come out to do the job. Now its back to the buildings.

Interior work for one of the buildings. The walls still have to be decorated. These will be the inner walls, and counters. Outside looking in. I know it's a wild color combo, but then this is a hippy district of town.

Okay I started looking at he building a bit closer, and realized I needed more room. Not enough for a kitchen. So I built this skeleton out of 1/8th inch plexiglass. Have to add the exterior to it yet. Also got some done on the interior. The doors to the kitchen area are also plexi, with the covering from a AAA Car decal. Windows were made using a paper punch. Have a couple of walls yet to finish, along with some curtains I am working on for the upper windows, and the stools. Then Its into the building.

Just about done with the new addition. Got the walls up, and the roof ready The roofing material I will use a piece of sand paper. Outside front, and side wall. I used a body skin for a Pine Car Derby kit. Making some stools for the counter. Used a paper punch, and some square brass tube for the supports. These will be glued to sequin pins I installed from the bottom. Finished the walls in side. You can see the pins in the above shot.

Finished the interior for the cafe. Decided to light it up also. The one bulb fell through a bit lower, but they are not permanent yet. Some outside detailing going on. Looks like someone tagged the side of the building. Hey Jim, do you know where Myron is hiding? This looks like his work.
