Back in the mid 70s, one of my favorite TV shows was a show called "The Magician". It starred Bill Bixby as a professional magician that solved crimes using magic tricks to trap the bad guys. He drove around in a white 74 Corvette, and about 3 years ago I started on a model of that car. The only 74 kit I could find was the AMT annual, which had a lot of innacuracies. I had to reshape the rear window and sail panels, change some emblems, change the parking and marker lights, find a better set of wheels, and change the engine from a big block/4 spd to a 350/automatic. I even got irritated with it and put it away a couple of years, but decided last week to finish it. Its still got some problems, but I`ll live with it.
