Hi guy, For my firt thread, i'll show you my latest work. For this one, i try to use a new way to do a brick work on the wall with cork. I started from a picture of a 1/35 kit and decided to make the same in 1/24 scale, here is the reference pics : After 3 weeks of work here the result : first the pics in daylight, some details was added after the shooting Well I tried to take pictures of the lighting, but not great, I think the atmosphere is not as well restored by photo! I've taken the bulbs that I used in my big fat finger to get an idea of the size. They come from Conrad, pre wired, but I redid the wiring with smaller wire so that it goes better in the scenery. Everything is connected to a transformer with a toy train set of my youth. A view of the bulbs up in light, homemade master made a core purpose casting resin and then rotated on a lathe. Then I made a mold and I cast as much as I want. The wire replaced are more discreet than those supplied with the bulb. Some details of the scene, starting with the traditional pile of nuts on the side of the house A rusty old drum was home made from a tube of aspirin and shaped evergreen half round, then work the paint and rust with various pigments. while i'm writing this, I realize that for this scene, I made everything and that's a real pleasure! Sorry for my english i try to use google translation but ...

Very nice work. You don't need a model kit to create a work of art.
