An effort for the past ............

.......... In 1960, when I was 13 years old, my dad brought me an AMT '32 Ford roadster kt ................. it was the first kit I had built that had an engine ............. and like most 13 year olds at that time I made an awful mess of that model

Seven years ago I was able to find another of those A132 kits on eBay and was lucky enough to win the auction ................ I set out to build the kit exactly as I had done 41 years before ................. nothing fancy, nothing aftermarket, no differences from my original attempt ............... done simply as a remembrance of my youth .............. and my father who died nearly 30 years ago

My 25T I did for the same reason, and pretty much the same way you did, except it was my late grandfather who donated the original kit back in the day, for me to destroy. I've been making an effort to find those lost kits I remember so fondly, and have found new inspiration to build.
