This is one of my favorite race car models.....The Roger Penske 1974 Matador. Mark Donahue was supposed to be the driver, but was killed before it could be raced. This was one of the first cars in Nascar to use disc brakes. This model represents the "Press Realease" car, that was built for photo shoots....the actual race car that was driven by Bobby Allison had different quarter windows, but I just liked the looks of this one better. Built from the AMT kit.......

Very nice Roadie, I have two of these kits myself, one is going to be the Gary Bettenhausen version. Yours looks great, very inspirational!

Nice build. Those older NASCAR cars really looked great. Not like the stupid cookie cutter cars of today.
