Thanks everyone for looking and for the compliments! The decals were made by me using print shop 20 , they give you a limited variety of fonts, colors, (no white) outline, shading, and positions. Then I print on an ink jet printer, very limited. The decal must be darker then the paint or it disapears. They don't print very opaque, if I goose the setting, the ink just bleeds out in the water! But when it works it's fun. I like the graphic arts deal! Old coyote, thats the FE motor big block came out in '58 as a 332 and included the 352, 390, 406, 427 etc. with the distributor in the front. The Y-block came out in 1954 as a 239, included the 272, 292, and 312 made till 1964, had the disributor in the rear and the headers were spaced as a chevy small block. The Thunderbird motor! I just aquired this information recently that I'm sharing. Hers some examples: FE block Y block:

Awesome build, Slim! I always enjoy your old race cars! You know I sponsored a '61 Ford very similar to that one back in 1975 when I owned my body shop! It raced on a 1/4 mile paved oval in Meridian, ID.

Stupid, but I never even thought to take any pictures of it back then! In '76 we sponsored VW Beetle in the foreign class. In '77, we did a '70 Charger. I don't have pictures of any of them. The drivers probably have pictures, but I lost track of those guys years ago.
