Nice! Great looking classic car! I don't think I'll cut mine down to a super mod after all!

I sure hope you don't cut it up Tom. This is a great kit and a real nice part of American racing history. You want to get the Indycal decals though....they are much better than the kit decals.

Can you send me a link to InyCal, please? I was concerned with the kit decals, they must be at least 20 years old, and not that great anyway! I could use some chassis reference pictures, too. I don't know how accurate the kit frame is. Then I could scratch build one and put it under an old Monogram Kurtis-Kraft roadster for the super mod. I have a couple of those. Old roadsters turned super modifieds are cool race cars!

Here's the link to Indycals. Michael is a great guy to deal with indycals.com/Decals/index.htmlDo a google search on Watson roadster and you'll find some ref. pics that should help. The frame is pretty good. It won't work on the monogram kit...different scales, and the KK frame is way different from the Watson. You could do like I did on the Monogram, and just build a sub frame in the engine bay.

Very nice build Bill. A true piece of racing history.
