On my work bench...........

....... are three seperate projects

The first is a 1/25 scale rendering of "Big John" Bateman's Atlas Oil Tool top fuel dragster which was driven by Pat Foster .............. the body is from Chuck Meier at AlteredStatesModels .......... the chassis is from the Two Much kit




The second build underway is Judy Lilly's '68 Barracuda Hemi powered SS/AA .......... the kit is from AMT and the engine is from Ross Gibson




and the final project is dick Harrell's '66 altered wheelbase Nova injected funny car ............... the body is a Competition resins piece and the donor kit is the AMT Rat Packer ............ however, the Rat Packer chassis had to be extended over an inch to fit under the stretch nosed Nova body




all three bodies have been sprayed with Cobracolors Moon Mud primer and have been sanded in preparation to their color coats

Color coats are on ..................... the Atlas Oil Tool Special has a base of Cobracolors Arena Red ........... and a stripe and fade that was created by a mixture of Millenium Yellow, Arancio Ishtar (Lambo Orange) and Arctic White ......... then oversprayed with more Arena Red




The dick Harrell '66 Nova is all Cobracolors Guards Red




and the Judy Lilly Barracuda is Arctic White in the front fading to a light blue in the rear ........... the light blue was made by mixing equal parts of Cobracolors Arctic White and Electron Blue Metallic

Here's where we stand on Judy Lilly's Barracuda .............. paint and decals are complete ............ starting to work on the Ross Gibson Super Stock Hemi engine and updating the interior ............... waiting on bare metal foil to arrive to finish the body

Here's the progress on the dick Harrell altered wheelbase '66 Nova ............... paint is finished and decals are on ............. body is shown on a "test fit" onto the chassis .............. getting closer ........... the interior tub just needs to be shortened a little more ........... a test engine is in place just to check the placement of the injector stacks (they will just barely stick out of the hood when finished) ......... looks like those are going to line up OK .............. on with engine, interior, glass, and chassis builds on this one
