....... over the past few years I had become increasingly disenchanted with NASCAR and the direction the France family greed factory was taking the sport ............... and I had totally quit building Nascar models (with the exception of a paint test on Leon Tefft's Cobracolors lacquers) ....... while I still feel the same way about the sport, I have decided to go back to building Nascar models in celebration of what the sport used to be, not necessarily what it has become

I picked a total phantom that I had painted and decaled about 10 years ago as my first build under this "attitude adjustment" .............. a totally box stock Monogram notchback Monte Carlo which uses modified David Pearson Rogers Esso decals
