Hey, my name is Jessica and im KW Truck's oldest kid. i started playing with plastic when i was 5 sittin on my dad's lap pointin to parts he was talkin about when he was makin them. I have 8 snaps from when i was little and won 1st for a Chevy Blazer and 3rd for a monster truck. i am now 14 and no longer makin snaps that much, unless i go to the shows and do "make n takes". So i made the 97 mustang and won 2nd this year. (not a snap). im like in love with horses and like love mustangs especially the late 90's, so i really would like to build lots of them. i was in another club with my dad (OVSM). He mentioned it too in his profile. My dad has alot of truck models so when he dies i get them (lol) Especially his Aussie trucks. I have other hobbies like watchin nascar and football with my parents. GO DE JR AND GP!!! ;D and i like playin video games with daddy. Glad to be with you guys. Later

Hi Jessica, I just joined myself, but I recognize your dad's nickname from another group, maybe Models and Dioramas or...? Not sure which. Anyway, your Mustang is very nice. Since it is the current home page image for this forum, it's obvious I'm not the only one who likes it.
I like Mustangs too, and Falcons, which is the car the Mustang was based on. Early Mustangs were Falcons with a different skin. I have a 61 Falcon Wagon in full scale. It is waiting for a rebuild with a V8 to replace the old inline 6. I can't find a pic in the computer real quick, but here's a photo of a 69 Mustang Boss 302 Trans Am race car I helped restore back around the time you were born. That's me next to the front fender. No, I'm not that short, I was crouching down because I was working on adjusting the front suspension on the Javelin.
And what's up with this "when daddy dies" stuff? My 12 year old son talks that way about my stuff. You kids make me nervous! LOL Actually, the attitude shows that you young people like what your dads do, and that is great from a dad's point of view!
My son also builds, but apparently not as enthusiastically as you. I have been helping his buddy build a Mustang like yours, but painted Candy Apple Red over a gold base.
Keep building, Richard
