Here is my next project. I bought the kit when it first came out. About 10 years ago I started working on it, I painted the body( Candy Apple Grape over a silver base coat) and started laying BMF on it. For some reason which I don't remember I stuck everything back it the box and it's been hiding in my stash since then. I built up the chassis and engine up to this point so I could take some pictures. Thanks For Looking Chuck J

Everything has been hectic around here so I haven't had a lot of time to work on this. In the pictures you'll see the blower belt idler pulley got knocked out of whack by an injector pin when the kit was made and what I made to replace it as I don't think I would have been able to straighten the original without messing it up more. I think this will work just fine. Chuck J

Between work, home and summer I have done a lot of modeling but I'm still here and still working on this build. This kit is short on a lot of detail so I've been searching the parts box to find what I need. If I can't find it I'm making it. On top of this pic is 2 blower scoops the one on the right is the kit one and it's junk so I found the scoop on the left in the parts box while looking for a fuel pump. Next there is a set of butterflies for the scoop and a shaft for the fuel pump. I couldn't find a fuel pump so I took one off a model(right) that I already had built and I bought some mold making rubber(bottom) and casted a new one out of epoxy(center). On the left is an oil filter that I'll mount to the chassis and then plumb to the engine. These pictures shows the new pieces in place. The fuel block at the back of the scoop is going to get redone and I'm thinking of shortening the shaft for the fuel pump. Chuck J
