For My next trick I plan on reviving my 40 Ford Sedan. I was working on this build but I had burned out on it so I had to take a break from it. I've taking some time away from it and built other models and worked on some others and now its time to finish this one. Some modelers from the old site will remember the 40 Ford. The top was already chopped and the body work done by the time I bought a camara. I wish I had a camara from the begining, the roof was cut into 7 pieces and strips of styrene had to be added to get everything lined back up. The paint is Plasti-Kote Kameleon copper to green over a maroon base. The hood was v-slitted to give it a lower profile and a set of stacked headlights were molded to the fenders. For the Interior I used the custom seats from AMT's 57 Ford Fairlane, the rear seat needed to be narrowed and fitted to the interior bucket. The dash I found in a parts box and I was told it was from the 40 Ford Delivery. The skull came from a Hot Wheels car. The engine is the kit's Olds motor with a parts box carbs and some detailing I didn't like the kit's fan belt assembly so I made one from masking tape and the pullies. I had to make an altenator bracket. To be Continued LOL Chuck J

Sorry it took so long to bring about the finish of this model but I was knocked off line for awhile. During this time I finished the build so let me bring you upto date. After I was done with the engine I turned my attention to the chassis, after cleaning up where I had cut out the exhaust I painted it Metallic black. Once the chassis and body where glued together I used flocking to carpet the trunk and then the trunk lid was hindged on. BMF was used to back to tailight lenses to make them more reflective. Windows were cut to fit and the body was given a final polishing. here are a couple of pictures now that it is done One of them is with the box so you can see the before and after.
