Here are the wheels.I didn't strip the chrome,I washed them with Dawn dish soap.Then I sprayed them flat black then brushed dark gray on the outer part of the wheels.( I thought this would give them a dirty look).then I rubbed the paint off the center caps and used stop light red on the centers.

looks good what did you use to make the rust on the manifolds look rough

Thanks Guys, On the manifolds I painted them with the rust paint mixed with flat black to get the darker shade.Before it dried I dabbed it with the brush.I repeated it with lighter shades of rust.Testors Flat Brown works well as a light shade of rust.
