I may be a Ford guy, but i do have some liking for Camaros. No heart attacks out there guys, I still prefer Falcons and Mustangs! That body style on the Camaro is one of the better ones. I have thought for a long time that it would be cool to build one of those like a 1970-vintage TransAm racer. By the time Chevy went to that nose and tail, Trans Am rules had gone to tube frame/fiberglass body with huge fender flares. Some modest flares would look great on one of those. Are those pics that someone else took earlier in the year, or is there snow on the ground where you're at in July? LOL It looks pretty clean and straight. Any plans beyond the Flowmasters? Or have you had enough time to make plans yet? Richard

I took the pics when I got it in Feb. No big plans as of yet. It depends on the cash flow.

My cousin had a '78 that was like this one. I can't tell you all about all of the laws we broke in that thing. They may still be lookin' for us.

Haha, that's so cool. My mom bought a GEO at the same dealership that your Camaro came from. I used to live in Mt Washington Kentucky, and I used to wash cars at Central Chevrolet as a teenager.

That is cool. I traded for it from a used car lot in WV. I believe the mileage is original. 54,000. Someone did take out the original V6 though.

It may not have been purchased from Central originally though. It was Jasper Chevrolet until about 85 or 86, then in 2003 it was changed to Matt Montgomery Chevrolet. It still has the Central sign up however.

Hopefully after hunting season here in WV the Camaro will head into the body shop. Have a guy lined up that is going to replace the bad spots on the quarters, fix the dents and shoot the flat black primer on. It just might be ready for Hot Rod Power Tour 2007.

The Camaro is up for sale. Have a new lil one thats on the way so my toy has to go. Good solid car. Asking $2000 or best offer. New plugs, Accel wires, dist cap and performance HEI coil from Summit. Chevy Bowtie gauges water temp/oil pressure (need installed), new headers just powder coated, dual tailpipes and mufflers (need installed). My loss is your gain.
