I drove down to Mint Hill (Charlotte) to pay Fatman Fabrications the last of the ransom on Timmy's chassis ........... and to arrange shipment up to the guys in Asheboro I'll have to admit, this thing is a piece of art ............. it is so much better than I expected ............ the quality of the work is outstanding ............. the chassis was laid out and built on a laser jig ........ and it's as straight and square as it can be ............ the steering is a narrowed Mustang II rack, the front suspension is a basic Mustang II IFS with polished a-arms, top and bottom ........... the rear is a four link, and the rear end is a 9" Ford with 3.55:1 gears ............... new rotors and calipers grace the front and sintered metallic 11" drums are on the narrowed rear ............. as you can see, the chassis contains a safety hoop for the driveshaft The only things not installed are the brake lines , master cylinder, and brake pedal (they don't know where the master cylinder will be located, and neither do we at this moment), and the rear coilover shocks are not in place (you can see that there are metal bars connecting the four link to the frame instead of the shocks/springs ..... that's to keep the rear totally rigid during shipment ...... they don't want it to flex at all They produced a book which goes with the chassis ............ it documents every piece on the chassis, right down to part numbers ............. these guys are amazing I'll get more pictures when we get it to the Martin Brother's shop in Ashebooro

A beautiful work of art. That is one fine chassis. Timmy will be happy to have that under him.
