Well Bobby, count me in. I'll be building the Revell 1964 Ford Thunderbolt 427. I haven't decided on which team/driver I'll be building, but I still have a couple days to figure one out.

I'm in too. I'm gonna build the Revell Charger Daytona. I'm leaning towards Larry Berweger's #16 USCA racecar, but I'm still not positive because I don't even know if I can get the decals for that car.

ok here's what im building.....bob hamilton's 70 chevelle ss/da AKA the "RED ALERT" chevelle....now the question is, do i build the original car, or the restored version??? what do you guys think?

i should have remarked that the only difference is the motor....restored car had a dart intake with a dominator on it....

well i finally got a start on the "red alert" car....painted and decaled tonight........more to come....adam well after clearing the car, disaster struck.....seems like the clear didn't like the decals very well, and pretty much destroyed the color.....now i have a red chevelle with black stripes and a nice black fog down the rear quarter of the driver's side....here's the bad thing.....NOBODY makes these decals anymore....now im SCREWED....so unless i can get another set of decals or my custom set comes in from another project ive started, i don't think ill be finishing anything for this build......IM PISSED!!!!!!! adam |

i THINK they were from billygoochie....who is no longer in business, but im not exactly sure since i bought them at the w. middlesex show a few years back....so it's a total guess....i know by doing a search nobody does them currently, and a price for an original kit (wrong year chevell too) goes for alot more than it's worth.....SOO..i guess ill have to beg the guy making my decals for another project, or build something else.....it does have to be a replica, correct??? adam

well just to be on the safe side, im gonna build the dale e.'s 2001 24 hrs of daytona C5-R race car......i have had this on the back burner for some time now, and here's a reason to build it.....it will go well with my other C5-R......adam
