On many 1:1 vintage cars, you will see off-white or 'ivory' colored steering wheels; most model paints are pure white, and miss the mark completely.....not any more, thanks to Tamiya. Their TS-7 'racing white' spray is a great color. The upper body in the pic is bare white Tamiya plastic. The lower one has been shot with TS-7. I originally used this paint to represent VW 'pearl white' on a model of my friends' unrestored '65. It's a bit of a tough color, as it is not really 'pearlescent,' and it's also not a pure white either. (the black '56 is theirs too)
