Hey guys this is a Tamiya Wrangler I screwed up about 4 years ago. I decided it was time to do something with this. I am also going to use as many of my resin parts as possible on this build as well to kind of showcase the stuff. Thanks for looking. Jake

Great idea Bro! I will do the same with a baja bug for you. Can't wait to see it done. At least you won't have to wait 6 months to a year for your parts.LOL! Doug

Hey guys I got the front and rear shock hoops glued in place. I also got all of the brackets glued in place for the links. I will spray the chassis tommorrow and get the engine and a few other things in tommorrow. Thanks for looking. Jake

Ok folks I got some progress done. I completed the front suspension and glued it in place. I built the shocks using one of my aluminum shock kits. The axles are resin Dana 60 center sections I have casted with styrene tubing. The wheels are resin Walker Evans Beadlocks. I still have to fab up the drag link and steering box. The engine is almost complete and a drive shaft will be fabbed up for the front axle as well. Enjoy the pics, and I hope to have more completed by tommorrow. PS - Tell your friends this build is going to end up on Ebay as soon as it is complete. Jake

Thanks Wagonguy, I hope it turns out like I want it to. I got the rear suspension completed tonight. It is starting to come together. I need to finish painting the engine and get it glued in place and the front steering still needs completed. I hope to work on it tommorrow. Hopefully I can finsh the chassis completely and start working on the body. Thanks for looking. Jake

Well like I stated the chassis is complete, minus the drive shafts. I had to scratchbuild the pitman arm and glue it to the steering box. It actually came out better than I thought it would. I am going to get a chance to work on the body tonight to fix a few mistakes I made in the past. I am hoping to lay some paint on the body tommorrow. We will see how tonight goes. Enjoy the pics. Great work, looks awsome. So does the suspension actually move or is that the position it stays in?

Thanks for the comments guys. Unfortunately the suspension is glued and does not move. One day I figure it out though. Thanks to Doug, a good friend, I was able to decide what color to paint the Jeep. I got the body painted and I also built the swing-out spare tire carrier. I also got the winch painted and glued up front as well. Hopefully I can get some time to fab up the cage and start wrapping this build up. Only time will tell, thanks for looking. Jake

Great job on that crawler, Jake; even in a fixed position, the suspension looks gnarly. ....is it just me, or does anyone else feel the need to photoshop a fire hydrant into this pic? ;D

I had someone else tell me the same thing. The other guy said something else that had me ROTFLMAO. I can't quite say it here though. It may upset some people. Thanks man.
