hey guys.. well like i said the closest i could get was still the wrong body, but im doing some body mods to change the side windows, and make the top look solid so itll be close. im going on leave tomarrow so i wont be working on it for a while, but i wanted to get the chassis up here for all to see. Basically the stock frame was stripped and everything was scratch built for it. The leafs are scratch built from spring steel with working aluminum shackles. the shocks and drivelines are scratch built from aluminum tubing and fully functionnal. as you can see, its getting about 2" of articulation overall which as you 4X4 builders know is quite a bit for working suspension. now it just needssome touch up on the chassis, exhaust, alot of body work and custom bumpers. enjoy, mopar1 !!!!!!!!!

thanks guys... next up here should be my wrangler with working suspension and working steering. the suspension and steering is done, but the body still has a little ways to go. its got coils in the back, and coilovers up front. unfortunatley its hard to find soft enough coils, and you can only add so much weight before axles start breaking so it doesnt flex near as much as the ram mopar1

Great looking build Jason! Super job on the suspension, and I really like the pic with it on the hood of the real one!
