This was brought over from the old site Sometimes I do stray away from KW's and shiny rigs. This truck and trailer kit was found at a flea market in ' 92 for $4.00. I was off line building for a while till my 1st daughter was old enough to leave me some build time. I got this just to play around to see what I did & did not remember. The Mack R and Peerless Log Trailer are both AMT original issue kits. We have some loggers around here, and their rigs are no better then this. The Mack is built box except for---primer door, missing scripts, almost near miss damage on air cleaner/fender/missing light/log bar, real sleel cables, fuel cap rag, wood tool box with junk behind cab, home-made stickers ( drawn on adhesive paper & colored ) rubber band bungee straps, extreme weathering/mud. The trailer has real cut wood, cable tie downs, air/electric lines & chain, working suspension, & enough dirt/grease/mud to make it interesting. Working time was around 60 hours stretched out over 5 months. Please visit my PhotoBucket site for more pics on this rig. s58.photobucket.com/albums/g250/KWTRUCK/Mack%20R%20with%20Log%20Trailer/ ---KW Truck---

I still think I see that truck on the roads down my way. Looks like a good old WV logging truck.
