This kit has all the same tools as the 500 Magnum (posted Renault magnum with Curtain trailer ) except for a new front clip. A big difference in real life between the two is the power plants--going from a 500 h.p. V8 down to 480 h.p. straight 6. To make this truck accurate, I have to dump the kit 500 and find a 6 banger. Time to take a trip back to the local Mack dealer to get info on the diesel (Renault still uses Mack engines) I'll be using the engine from the re-issue Mack 600, by adding/moving some parts,it will look every close to a 480. Started by building the chassis, than the diesel, than making mounts, fitting it in and plumping it all up. The cab is built out-the-door factory stock, including the gold w/ blue stripes (seen it on the Renault web site) Interior has the usual carpet/new seats/refrigerator w/ open door. The chassis was givin' a extended exhaust tip and the normal wiring.
