This truck is being built pretty much out of parts. The mixer unit and frame are from a 1/32 scale die-cast Kenworth by New Ray. The only thing that was die-cast was the cab. I tore down the mixer unit and rebuilt it, getting rid of all the mold lines and flash, and the little hand crank setup that used to turn the drum.
The cab is a Modelhaus resin kit, man, is it sweet! I widened the axles and used some spoke wheels I cast from resin. I'll put a "W" block truck engine under the hood.
Everyting is painted now, just waiting for the paint to dry so I can start assembly.
