Yes, a Snap kit can work out in some cases. I am building this one for a diorama involving a Galaxie fifth wheel trailer. The paint is Testors "True Blue Pearl" by Boyd and went on smoothly. It has been sanded out to about 3,000 grit and will be clear coated soon. I did lower it by drilling new holes for the metal axles (very simple), and cut the tailgate for the fifth wheel hitch. Simple painting with a 'wash' on the one piece underside helps a lot!
