Here´s an old one of mine, build ca. 9 years ago. Mostly box stock except for the rims. The blue is Humbrol enemal, the white is no paint but polished kit plastic. Hope you like it... Happy new year to all of you!

Wow, I love it. The only thing I would change is the wheels.( Fuchs,Radir,BRM?) I hope when I do my tamiya beetles they come out at least half as nice as that one. Doug R

Nice job Stefan! Love the colors. I probably would have used 135-15's in the front with zero offset cragers, but I remember trying to make lock to lock turns in my old '64 beetle that was lowered 4 inches with 155's back in a day. The first time the tires rubbed on the fenders it made a sound that made me almost poop my pants. look forward to more of your vw builds.

Me likey! Great color selection, and a nice stance; that's one of my favorite kits, and you did a great job on it.

Well, I now that the tire/rim cambination is not prefect, but remember, it was build 9 years ago and I didn´t know anything about those things back then... I´ve just build it, how I liked it

When you start worrying or building to others likes and dislikes you are not building for yourself anymore
Its youir model and thats exactly what your supposed to do
Its a nice period piece- to change the wheels would take it from a nice reto rod to a new age Tuner

Everyone builds different and has different tastes, and that's what make it fun. Cragars look good on just about anything.
