Hello everyone, I have finished another stalled project that I started a while ago. It is a Polar Light Herbie Love Bug VW. It is a ok model to build. The fit is a little difficult to get right. I built it box stock with the only detailing to the interior. I painted it with Tamiya Mica Blue. The wheels and tires are out of my parts box. Enjoy the photos, Mike

Good looking Bug. I really like that color (have for a while now.)
Did you paint it over gray or white primer? Just curious cause i've seen this color in different shades (of course, coats and thickness make a difference, too.) I'd love to get my hands on one of those Polar Lights kits. I guess, just to say I built one.
Again, great looking Bug.

Cool, awesome color choice. I just happen to have a couple photos of the HERBIE version I finished just after the Fully Loaded Movie came out. I will eventually probably end up replacing the stickers with decals. The stickers are already falling off!!! Steve

ninja90177,
It is primed with gray auto primer. The body color is from a rattle can.

Cool! I had one of those ,but traded it away. I had 2, but cut them up after they donated their engines to other projects. ;D Very nice work on the blue one, Mike; I like the color a lot
