here is the only picture I have taken recently. its my 355 chevy motor with 441 heads on it I rebuilt myself for the derbies. still a strong running motor with some goodies on it! ;D

F@#king new style motors, they may be fast, but i just cant seem to like those like a rebuilt 350 4 bolt main with a lumpy cam and some long tube headers....and when it comes to derby , some long tube headers right out of the hood = D Deadman...good looking motor

This is a family board and its not acceptable here. 2nd The new style or modern engines are so far advanced from the old 350 4 bolts that they dont even compare. For drag racing with superchargers, turbos or NOS the modern engines are top notch. Times have changed. 3rd I agree you probably cant beat a 350 4 bolt for a derby engine. Cheap and easy to find.

Cheap and easy to find. 1st has already been adressed 2nd im aware of this, i was just stating that i still like old style motors may it be derby or other wise 3rd Its less that there checp and easy to find, if you wanted that pull a motor out of a crown vic, but really more that when built right, they are strong running durable motors.
