I figure I oughta toss one in the ring this month.....I present the "V-Bucket." It was a Revell 'Rat Rods' T bucket kit, built pretty much box stock.....except the frame was shortened 6" in scale just ahead of the firewall, and I added a blown aircooled VW engine with a scratchbuilt intake manifold, headers and a shortened blower. "Look, Ma...no radiator!!" ;D A photoetched instrument panel & pedals made their way to the interior, and a Hotwheels 'RigorMotor' gave up one of its headlights so I could have a cool skull shifter knob. Detail Master flocking was used for carpet, and Krylon 'Make it Suede' paint made great upholstery on the seat and side panels. Paint is Tamiya TS-52 candy lime green over TS-38 gunmetal. public.fotki.com/VWDave/my_model_cars/v_bucket/
