Thanks for the comments yall! Gary, it took about 6 hours, and that is a conservative guess. I got this kit in the mid / late 1970's and it was way too much for me. Fastforward to last year, and the decals were all but gone. Got a couple of uncut sets from a friend of mine and went to work. Had to use liquid decal film on all of them. Even then had a few that just did not want to cooperate. The red stripe under the engine is chipping on both sides, but don't think I will attempt to replace it right now. Thanks again for looking.

This is the 1/16 scale Revell dragster, correct? You did a nice job.
I built the 1/16 Don Prudome Army dragster years ago.

Thanks again Gary. No, this one is 1/24. And it is one of the original issues, I believe. At least the original decal sheet has a 1974 copyrite on it. Had a couple of issues with body panel fit, and the front top panel is now glued on. This was the only way I could get it and the bottom section to meet up. Looking back, this was probably the last model I got dad to help me on. After that, I wanted to do them all myself. Could probably have gotten some of the pieces to fit better, but that would have entailed dismatling the car and starting over, which I did not want to do. Also should have done better to hide the seam in the rear tires, but that is what I did almost 30 years ago, so just left them. Later.

Wow! I thought it was 1/16. It's even more impressive being 1/25.
