Nice build John. Can't wait to see it at the meeting tomorrow night. I see the fire bottle is wearing red paint now and not just spots of red. ;D

nice job. I've had the same problem with tamiya decals on some of there motor cycles

great build, and great kit. you have done a fantastic job with those decals. the lips on the rims look great, how did you do that??? are they polished??

Thanks for the compliments TJ The rims are completely chrome on the tree. The white spokes are brushed painted. I took my time so as not to get any air bubbles in the paint. I thinned Tamiya white so that it would "smooth out" a little easier. Each wheel/tire assy. has 6 decals. 3 on the spokes, 1 on the lip, and 2 on the tires. Took a while to do but turned out nice, IMHO.

See it painted first hand, I too was impressed with the painting on your wheels John. Very steady hand and a sharp eye. For those who don't know, John did this portion of the 24 hour build early in the build when his eyes and hands were working well together. To be fair about this comment, we were all seeing extra shadows on parts when we hit the late teen hour mark. Were just not as young as we once were.
