The local club I belong to decided to do a same kit build using the new 32 Ford Sedan kit from Revell. I've been wanting to build this kit since it came out so I jumped right on it. This kit is based on the other 3 32 kits Revell has out but they've added a lot to it. There is a new flathead V-8 and to go with it there is an extra radiator and dash without the AC vents. The gas tank can be smooth or it can have the filler neck on itand you can have smooth hood sides or lovered sides. This kit also has the best set of wire spoked rims I've seen in kit form.

I started the build by lowering the front suspension as detailed in a magazine article I read a while ago by cutting down the mounting tab. Originally I was going to build this kit with the new Flathead motor but I found out most of the guys in the club were going to build it that wayso I decide to use the 5.0 motorand just do a basically box build with wiring and other details. This Sedan will be fenderless and the paint if I can pull it off will be black faded back to yellow through a series of checker boards The rear suspension I've left at the original height to give it a little bit of a rake and I added brake lines The front was lowered as I told you and I added the brake lines here also The engine has gotten some detail paint and plug wires with boots. Other plans for detail will in clude carb linkage and fuel lines and maybe T-bolts on the valve covers. A friend of mine sugested the rearend needed a smily face on it. Other than the radiator shell needing a coat of clear the grill assembly is ready to go together
