Im building this for a freind of mine. He has one of these in 1:1 and is in the process of building it. He has the engine bay almost done and asked me to put my take on a paint scheme and wheel set up. He gave me his idea and this is what I came up with. The body is gloss balack with a set of purple pearl ghost flames airbrushed in the sides. I then shot the entire car with a light mist of metal flake. The idea is that you can only see the flames and metal flake in a certain light. I thnk I succeeded because this is the hardest paint job Ive ever had to take a picture of. I dont usually shoot pics of my stuff outside, but thats the only way I could get the flames to show up...and the metalflake looks awesome, but for a picture ....forget about it LOL! The chassis is almost box stock with the exeption of the wheels and tires. they are from the new release 56 nomad. I also used the rotor decals from that kit and made calipers from styrene. the interior is black with purple inserts on the seats. The engine bay will be the most detailed part of this build. I will have some pics of that soon. Thanks for looking.
