While it doesn't look as though we have accomplished much in this last month, one of the most time consuming and difficult tasks has been completed .............. the rear wheel tubs have been fabricated and tack welded into place
The electric fuel pump will reside in a compartment beneath the floor right behind the right wheel tub ................ the battery box will be under the floor behind the fuel cell, as there's enough room to clear the wheelie bars with ease
The wheel flares are installed and ready to be cut down .............. they will be bead rolled ............... they will cover all but the last tread .............. gotta have those big meats sticking out a little )
..... I had forgotten just how big those rear tires were .........
............ the floor braces and panels have been cut ................ and we have the brake, fuel, shifter, and throttle assemblies in shop ............. as soon as we get them mounted the floor and tranny tunnel can be permanently welded in place ............... we're gonna go ahead and try to find room underneath to mount a power brake booster and master cylinder .............. didn't originally plan for power brakes but I'm now thinking it would be better to have them
