all right fellas got the resin bodies and a slew of braided wire, fittings, and parts friday in the mail!!! there were more shipped today as well!! first thing is first and that is soaking the resin in whestlies bleach white to help release the mold release agent and then its time to figure out the chassis situation!!! so hear is the first steps!!!

Where did you get the LX notchback body? They have 87-93 LX hatch bodies by any chance?

no i havent seen any!! but you send me a gt hatchback body and i will make you one and send it back!!!

thanks tj i appreciate it!! well today i got a fair amount done i shortened the height of the cowl hood, also sanded and filled the hood, and got a first coat of primmmer on it!! as well as got the front end cut off and a start in molding the front doghouse as one piece like on the real car!! let me know what you think??

Sweet start. This is going to one mean looking blue oval. Cant wait to see this complete. Does this resin place happen to have any 87-90 Cobra hatch back bodies?

no, no other stangs!! but the mustangs were the same from 87 to 93!! and revell has a 93 cobra kit!!

Ok thanks. I think I acually have the new 93 Cobra (Motor City Muscle). Somewhere in the stash. You gonna give us any teaser on the motor or you gonna make us wait? LOL!

ok here are some engine pics!! the engine is going to be a model in its self!! i have a bag full of PROTECH's braided wire and aluminium fittigs!! i also have the one piece front end about complete!!

Nice work so far! I am excited to see more! I have wanted to build one of these, but never knew were to begin!
