After a suggestion from a fellow member I am going to announce the theme for Sept MoM. So for Sept it will be "Motorcycles". Any scale, any type. This will be locked until 1st of August for entries.

Nice bikes guys! This was one i did when they first came out, 3 years ago? my one and only bike build. I did it for my wife to add to her Dale Jr. collection, when he raced for this team. If i were to do another one i would change a few things, o well! She really wanted me to enter this for her, so i did. The decals are from a nascar kit. Added a few wires. Have a good one!

I don't know if its too late for the Sept contest. This is an Imex Army Harley Davidson built for a club project. There was no chrome in this kit so all chrome was done with Alclad. I made molds of the block & jugs and cast extra pieces to make a V-4 engine. The valve covers were scratch built and all of the acorn nuts were replaced with Replicas and Miniatures nuts done in Alclad. Detail master AN fittings and braided lines were used for the oil lines and their plug wire with scratch built L boots for the ignition. The frame and tank were widened to fit the wider motor. Fenders and tank were painted with Testors stop light red over an aluminum and flat black fade. I used an onion bag for the net pattern mask. Even though its not a Ferrari, it was a fun build!
