This is definitely off topic but I'm pretty excited. My son (22 years old) has wanted to go skydiving for a while now. My wife and I talked it over and decided we would like to sky dive too. My daughter (18 years old) said "sure, let's do it" So tomorrow all 4 of us are going skydiving ;D If it all goes well I'll post again tomorrow night or Friday. If it doesn't go well.....

My wife and her friend did tandem skydives on their 25th birthdays a few years back, and she still raves about it. Have fun, and get back to earth safely. A very wise man once said: " If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving isn't for you." ;D

Have a great time! I've done bunjy jumping and that was a rush! Thanks Mike. To be honest with you I would be scared to death to bunjy jump. I've seen to many of those "world's most shocking videos" to do it. I agree with you, that would be a rush! The skydiving was probably a one time deal. Been there, done that and I really did buy a t-shirt...lol

Regarding the falling sensation, I'm no expert and I have not researched it but I believe it may be due to how high up you are. We jumped at 10500 feet. Had more of a "I'm flying" feeling. They did tell us about "ground rush" which happens when you get close to the ground. In the last few 100 feet (?) I guess your brain can compute the ground getting closer and you can get the "ground rush" effect. I really didn't get that too much. Again, I'm no expert. I might have to look into this. Bottom line, it was fun but I doubt I would do it again.
