Gary, You are missing a great opportunity to have a fun contest. Ask people to guess what the car will be when done and the winner will get to choose a finished model off your site! ;-)
I was going to guess Cruella de Vil's car from 101 Dalmatians. I think I am right... I would like your Street Beetle... I will PM you and let you know where to send it. John

Here's a little work that has been done to Wicked. The exhaust holes in the front right fender for the original power plant have been filled and smoothed. I'll give you a sneak peak tomorrow on the very rare engine that I'm thinking of using.
Anyone care to guess what engine? The front fenders also had provisions for the spare tires. Gone and smoothed!later guys!

Both are wicked engines. Gary you have to show how to get those holes filled in so smooth.

I had wondered about the Rapid Prototyping and hadn't had the guts ask if anyone had used it. If it works, it should be cool (I am much better at building stuff in the computer than in "real life"). Keep us updated. John

The engine winner is the Allison and its out being Rapid Prototyped as I type this. Daytonatim, a newbie to this board, is the 3D modeling guru, and the brains behind this process. I'm told we should have parts-in-hand about Thursday. I can't wait. As soon as they arrive, you'll get to see them also. Stay tuned.
By the way, if you made it to last years NNL Toledo in October, you would have seen this 1/6 Allison on the table. Yeap, that was Tims.
