After the voting on the poll and hearing what everyone had to say I am please to announce the new TMM Contest.
TMM Wagon Contest
Any wagon, sedan delivery or mini-van.
Any and all mods allowed
Starts August 15th and Ends Jan 15th. That gives you 5 months to finish
Everyone that is in please reply here and tell what you are going to build & post a pic if possible. I will start a place to post pics as you build.
So find your wagon kit and get ready to build. Will post prizes later.

Please let me know what you are building. There is a place to post pics. Just make your own post and start posting pics when the contest starts.

hey Bobby, i finally decided on a kit. i'm going to build my johan 61 olds F85 wagon. will try to get some in-progress shots, but i'm not too good at doing that, so no promises. guess i should really think about starting on it since its already september. but i still have 4 months so i should be ok

Ok., I know you guys are tired of hearing about it but I've decided on what to build. The '60 Chevy SD that Bobby sent me won out over the '55 panel that I had but I have decided against the '60 after doing some research on the topic. It seems the Jimmy Flinstone casting of the '60 is inaccurate as it was made from an Impala rather than a Biscayne which is a minor issue and one that can be fixed. But I also noticed that the door opening and panels sides are slanted on the casting and straight up and down on the real thing which makes it totally wrong. Since it would take quite some work to correct this issue anyway, I decided to cut off the entire top. correct the incorrect doors and panel sides and transplant the whole thing unto a '59 Impala body. I didn't even know that a '59 Chevy SD existed until this morning when I ran across on on the internet. I'm glad I found it because I like the '59 Chevys better anyway. I just hope I can finish it in time.
