hey guys ive been excited to get one of these new novas and then they finally came out so i got one, i was originally going to build it like i wanted my real one to turn out like but i would had to have waited for paint to come in, and it just wasnt comming out like i wantd so i figured i would whip it together and throw it on the shelf and buy a new kit to build mine so i shot it with Testors new laquer silver then was going to shoot it "fiery orange" but liked the silver so i left it, i did some mods to the motor, made my own racing pan, heat wraped the headers, the wired distributor i got from my buddy jeryd "great job on it man" but looking at it now i missed painting the top, oops im going to go paint that now lol, the front wheels seemed to big for what i was building so i added a set from an old JukeBox Ford kit, well here she is ill be adding more pics sometime cause im building my own cowl hood that i can swap to any of my Novas, enjoy

thank you guys, yea that new paint from Testors is some good stuff, that color is called "Diamond Dust" the hood has 5 coats of Testors clear laquer but it messed it up..well so i thought it did, so i went ahead and said forget clearing the body then after the car was done the hood kinda fixed its self, i dunno how but after letting it set for about 4 or 5 days the clear cleared up, i wish i would have known this before i assembled the car or i would have cleared it, oh well i know for next time,
oh Jeryd the monte carlo and firebird are just around the bend lol,
thanks again guys

Nice job on an awesome car.................. I'm still trying to find me a kit of the '69 Nova...........I started a ProStreet Nova project a while back......actually two..a Trumpeter '63 kit, and the ole' 70-72 from AMT............Now that the '69 is out though, I may just use my chassis from the '70 kit to slap under the '69 body........
